Vorkonfektionierte MTP Technologie-Polarität Typ B (Cross)
Die obige Anwendung bezieht sich auf das MTP-LC-Kabelbaumkabel, das einen QSFP + -Port direkt mit (4) SFP + -Ports verbindet.
In vielen bestehenden DC-Umgebungen werden LC-MTP-Kabel verwendet, um Glasfaserbündel mit hoher Dichte zwischen Switches, Rack-Patch-Panels und MDA (Main Distribution Cabling Panels) zu unterstützen.

Die oben genannte Acht-Faser-MTP-LC-Baugruppe verwendet an einem Ende einen pinlosen Anschluss für den Anschluss an den QSFP-Anschluss der Cisco Nexus 6000-Serie. Das andere Ende enthält vier LC-Uniboot-Anschlüsse, die die Verbindung zu den SFP + -Ports des Switches ermöglichen. Die Polarität der Baugruppe verbindet die Fasern vom MTP Connector von außen nach innen; somit sind die Faser 1 und die Faser 12 ein Duplex-Paar, ebenso wie die Faser 2 und die Faser 11 usw.

Der Begriff MTP ist ein eingetragenes Warenzeichen von US Conec, das in Europa derzeit zur Tendenz in den Bereichen der Glasfaser-Kommunikation geworden ist.

12-Fiber Mini-Core Cable structure
MTP-Hybridkabelfaser-Patchkabel sind an einem Ende mit einem MTP-Stecker und am anderen Ende mit LC-, FC-, SC-, ST- oder MTRJ-Anschlüssen versehen, um eine Vielzahl von Glasfaseranforderungen zu erfüllen.
