Fiber-Mart's SDI Extender transfers multirate HD-SDI digital video signals between two HD-SDI devices by a fiber cable. Single or multimode cable can be used to extend the signal over a distance of 10 km. In the Fiber optic Extender, the sender receives the SDI input signal from the HD-SDI device, fiber convert it into an optical signal, and transmit it over an optical fiber. The receiver at the other end obtains the data, converts the optical signal back to the SDI format, and transfers it to the other HD-SDI device.

HDMI Extenders
