How to Clean MTP/MPO Connectors?

Step 1: Slide the cover to reveal the cleaning cloth. Step 2: Slide the ferrule end along the cloth surface in the direction indicated on the cassette. Step 3: Press the lever to pull out a new cleaning cloth for another cleaning cycle. Step 4: Press the lever to close the sliding cover.

Note: 1. When using the CLE-BOX fiber optic cleaner to clean MTP/MPO connectors, it is only suitable for cleaning the male end of the MTP/MPO connector. For the female end of the MTP/MPO connector, a wet cleaning tool is required. 2. Do not move the connector back and forth on the cleaning cloth. Move in one direction only to avoid unnecessary contamination.
