Fiber Cleaning Products and Characteristics
Principle: Cleaning Methodology
● Dry Cleaning (Primary Method): Most products use specialized microfiber or lint-free materials. Through precise mechanical action (e.g., click-and-rotate, one-way wiping), they generate sufficient friction with the connector end face to physically lift and remove dust and particles without chemicals. Advanced fiber materials are anti-static to prevent re-attraction of dust post-cleaning. ● Wet Cleaning (Secondary Method): For oily films, fingerprints, and other contaminants resistant to dry cleaning, a dedicated fiber optic cleaning solvent is used. The solvent quickly dissolves oils and, with its low surface tension, carries away particles.
