The SFP+ LRM module (SPT-SFP+LRM) is the fiber optic transceiver working in multi-mode fiber.


The SFP+ LRM module (SPT-SFP+LRM) is the fiber optic transceiver working in multi-mode fiber. The SFP+ LRM module supports 220m transmission distance farthest; and it is working in the 1310nm wavelength.
 
The 220km 1310nm SFP+ LRM optical module supports 10GBASE-LRM Ethernet standard, which is suitable for the FDDI network and 10G data communication. Its’ low power consumption and outstanding EMI performance are fully in accordance with MSA SFF-8431 standard.
 
This optical transceiver module is used by the autonomous structure design. The excellent unlocking ring is fully compliant with the MSA SFF-8432 standard. The optical module also owns the DDM function.

The three structure of SFP+ module
 
The SFP+ fiber optic transceiver is the upgrade version of the SFP module. The SFP+ fiber optical module is the new application of the SFP module in the 10G Ethernet field. The SFP+ Module is the new small hot-pluggable fiber optic transceiver, which very suitable for 10G Ethernet and 8.5G Fibre Channel system.

The purpose of design this fiber optic transceiver is to provide higher access density and user access capacity finally by much lower volume and cost.
 
The SFP+ optical module mainly has three structures.
The first one is the limiting structure, which is the most closest to existing SFP module. This structure includes a laser, TOSA, ROSA and a limiting amplifier.
 
The second one is the linear structure. It mainly adopts the multi-mode fiber 10G long-distance Ethernet connection. So, it requires the devices have the linear light receiving ability.
 
The last one is the synchronous structure which is fully compatible with SFP+. The structure integrates the CDR function in the transmitting and/or receiving path to solve the signal distortion for most high-speed systems.
