Fiber Patch Cable

All kinds of SingleMode and Multimode Fiber Patch Cable Available at Fibermart for Your Optical Network!

Fibermart PVC/LSZH Fiber Patch Cable are standard fiber optic cables terminated with LC/SC/ST/FC/MTRJ/MU/SMA/E2000 connectors on both ends, such as LC-LC, LC-SC, LC-ST, SC-ST, SC-SC, ST-ST etc. These fiber patch cables are used for fiber link connection between equipment during fiber cabling. There are Singlemode and Multimode versions: Singlemode for long distance transmission, while multimode for short distance transmission. Fiber-Mart provides lszh fiber cable both Singlemode and Multimode patch cables (including OM1, OM2, 10G OM3 and 10G OM4), available in Duplex and Simplex as well as Plenum-rated. The Patch Cables can be Customized in any lengths and are 100% optically tested for maximum performance before shipping worldwide.

Introduction

Fibermart Patch Cables are essential connectivity solutions engineered for reliable fiber link connections between equipment. Available in versatile PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket options, these cables cater to diverse environmental and safety requirements. They are precisely terminated with industry-standard connectors (LC, SC, ST, FC, MTRJ, MU, SMA, E2000) in various combinations and support both single-mode and multimode transmissions, including high-performance OM3/OM4/OM5 grades. Customizable in length and 100% QC tested, these patch cords provide a dependable, high-performance foundation for building and maintaining your high speed optical networks.

Fiber Optic Patch Cables

Features

● Terminated with LC, SC, ST, FC, MTRJ, MU, SMA and E2000 connectors, available in Simplex or Duplex types (e.g., LC-LC, LC-SC, SC-SC).

● Offered both 9/125μm single-mode for long-distance and 50/125μm/62.5/125μm multimode wideband versions, including OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 and OM5.

● Features standard PVC or safety-enhanced LSZH, plenum-rated (OFNP). Minimizes toxic smoke and corrosive gas emission in case of fire.

● Multimode cables include standard (OM1/OM2) and laser-optimized (OM3/OM4/OM5) types, supporting bandwidths up to 100 Gbps and beyond.

● Customized ANY lengths, CE, RoHS, FCC certificated, 100% individual Testing Report for each cable, to ensure zero failure with High Performance.

● Engineered with high precision Ceramic Ferrules for low insertion loss < 0.2dB, high return loss, and excellent interchangeability for stable connections.

Principles

These patch cables operate on the fundamental principles of internal reflection to guide light. Their performance differs based on the fiber core type. Single-mode fibers have a narrow core (9μm) that allows only one light mode to propagate, drastically reducing modal dispersion. This enables signals to travel over long distances (tens of kilometers) with very high bandwidth, making them ideal for telecom and CATV backbones. Multimode fibers have a wider core (50μm or 62.5μm) that allows multiple light modes to travel. While this supports high data rates, modal dispersion limits effective transmission to shorter distances (up to 550m for 10G over OM4). The cable jacket (PVC or LSZH) provides physical and environmental protection without affecting the optical signal, ensuring the integrity of the light path from one connectorized end to the other.

Fiber Patch Cables Working Principle

Applications

● Data Center Interconnections: Patching servers to switches and connecting storage area networks within racks and across rows.

● Telecommunications Networks: Establishing links in central offices, equipment rooms, and for FTTx deployments.

● Local Area Network (LAN) Backbone: Connecting telecommunications closets and network distribution points within office buildings.

● CATV and Video Transmission: Delivering broadcast signals in headend facilities and distribution networks, often using single-mode fibers with APC connectors.

● Test and Measurement Setups: Serving as reliable reference cables for network installation, maintenance, and laboratory testing.
